Terms of use
Last updated 1 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and PDFjet Software for using PDFjet Forms. They are short, and written to be read.
Who we are
PDFjet Forms is made by PDFjet Software, in Unionville, Ontario, Canada. You can reach us at support@pdfjet.com.
What you can do for free
Anyone may use the editor to design documents and forms and download them as PDFs, without signing up and without paying, and anyone may fill in a form they are sent. What is made free has a line, "Made with the free version of PDFjet Forms": at the foot of each page of a form, and at the foot of the first page of another document.
PDFjet Forms Plus
- What it is: making forms and documents without the line of the free version, and taking the line off ones made free, for $50 USD a year or $5 USD a month for each person, with sales tax added where it applies, and VAT included in the EU and UK, as the checkout shows at the time of purchase.
- Who sells it: our reseller, Paddle.com, which is the merchant of record for all our orders: it takes the payment, charges the sales tax of your country, and issues the invoice. Its terms of sale apply to the purchase.
- Renewal: a subscription renews itself at the end of each year or month, at the price then, until you cancel it. You can cancel online at any time, from the link in Paddle's receipt, in as few steps as it took to buy. It then ends at the end of the period you have paid for, and nothing more is charged. Before a yearly subscription renews, you are emailed a reminder with its date and price, and a change of price is told to you before the renewal that charges it.
- Refunds: a full refund, for any reason, if you ask within 30 days of your first purchase, or within 15 days of a yearly renewal. A monthly renewal is not refunded, but you can cancel at any time before the next one. Ask from the link in Paddle's receipt, or at support@pdfjet.com. The refund goes back the way you paid, and ends the subscription and its key; the forms made with it stay fillable.
- Your right to withdraw: where the law gives you a right to withdraw from an online purchase, as it gives consumers in the European Union and the United Kingdom for 14 days, the 30 days above include it and give you more. You can withdraw as you ask for a refund.
- The key: each order has one key, for the number of people it is bought for. You may share it within your organization, with as many people as the order is for. Keep it from others: if it gets out, replace it, which sends the old one back to the free version.
- Your forms outlive your subscription: a form you made stays fillable, without the line of the free version, after your subscription ends. The forms you make after that are of the free version, with its line.
Your documents
What you make is yours. We claim no right to it, and we do not keep it: see Privacy. Keep the PDFs you download, as they are the only copy.
Using the site fairly
Do not use PDFjet Forms to make or send anything unlawful, to collect personal information without the right to, to deceive people, or to overload or attack the site. We may block use that does.
If you make a form
You are responsible for what your form asks and for the answers you receive, including under the law of privacy that applies to collecting them. We only write the PDFs.
What we promise, and what we do not
We work to keep PDFjet Forms available, correct and secure, and to write every PDF as accessible and archival (PDF/UA and PDF/A). But the site is provided as it is, and we cannot promise that it will always be available or free of mistakes. As far as the law allows, PDFjet Software is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and its liability for anything else is limited to what you paid for PDFjet Forms Plus in the 12 months before. Nothing here limits rights that the law of your country does not let a contract limit.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at their top changes too, and a change that affects a paid subscription will be announced before it takes effect. You may cancel if you do not accept it.
The law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and of Canada that apply in it. If you buy as a consumer, you also keep the protection that the consumer law of the country or province where you live gives you, and you may go to its courts.
